Especially if you are a manager, ππ¨π§βπ ππ«π’ππ’ππ’π³π. On my experience Iβve seen that criticism rarely leads to positive outcomes or increased productivity. Iβve made this mistake myself and noticed that when people are criticized, they often become defensive and π¬ππ¨π© π₯π’π¬πππ§π’π§π , ππ―ππ§ π’π ππ‘π ππ«π’ππ’ππ’π¬π¦ π’π¬ π―ππ₯π’π.
But the worse is criticism can create a culture where people focus more on pleasing the critic, particularly if that person is a manager, rather than doing their best work.
