Startups Common Mistake #1

--

With a decade of experience working in more than 15 mobile startups, I realize that in most of them we have built, in most cases, unnecessary features which were not requested by users or were not tested via MVF (minimum viable feature) before.

Those features were either not acknowledged at all by users or were only tried once and then forgotten. On the other hand, we spent a significant amount of time and money developing them.

To avoid this, what you need to do is:

When you want to develop something new, build it minimally and quickly and ship it fast; if people like it, put more effort into it; if they don’t, move to something else.
